This hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices and attention to detail. The central location in the heart of Nelson is perfect, with markets, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The basic amenities, including the private bathrooms with outside access, are well-maintained and the rooms are comfortable, with the added bonus of a broken ceiling fan that gives a distinct character.
Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. All was perfect.

The common areas were spacious and airy, perfect for relaxation. There was free bread and more importantly, clean and hygienic kitchen areas. The staff were warm and friendly, always willing to book a taxi or offer suggestions on where to go. Plus, the location was perfect, close to weekend markets and in a bustling area.
Buying wifi was necessary, unless you never use your phone. The knives provided were dull and made cooking tedious.

Neat and clean rooms that were well-maintained. Exceptional customer service with friendly and helpful staff at the front desk.- Pleasant premises that created a welcoming atmosphere.
Windows wouldn't shut properly, allowing the noise from HVAC units to disturb sleep, although this was solved by using earplugs. Harsh and odd lighting in the rooms, which could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

The friendly staff were a welcome bonus, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The noise from ongoing renovations in nearby rooms was a bit disruptive.

We had a great stay at this hostel in Nelson. the location was perfect, as it was very close to the InterCity bus depot, making it convenient for our travel. the room we stayed in was clean and spacious, with a comfortable single bed on the first floor. the bathrooms were just down the hall and were well-maintained with hooks and a shelf for our belongings. the hostel had great facilities, including good tables and a kitchen on the ground floor where we enjoyed free bread. We even made a sandwich to take with us for our early morning bus ride. The hostel is situated in Nelson's CBD, so there were plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Cons: Not one thing 😊.

Staying at this hotel was literally a dream come true. the luxurious amenities provided a unique and unforgettable experience. As soon as I walked into the room, I was impressed by the exclusive facilities: the private bathroom was equipped with a spacious shower and elegant toiletries, the large and comfortable bed was dressed in crisp, high-quality linen, and the TV with a variety of channels entertained me during down time.
Although everything was almost perfect, I noticed that one of the picnic tables outside needed some maintenance. Nonetheless, this was just a minor issue that didn't impact my overall experience.

Spent xmas at this awesome hostel and loved every minute of it! the free bread and friendly atmosphere were great perks. Also loved the convenient location close to shops and grocery stores. Plus, the outside space was perfect for chilling.
Only downside was the lack of charging sockets near the beds and hooks for personal belongings were scarce.

Friendly and helpful staff at check-in made us feel welcome from the start. The comfortable beds and clean rooms and bathrooms ensured a pleasant stay. The location was fantastic, with a central location to downtown and less than a 5-minute walk from the intercity stop. This made it easy for us to explore and get around. The free bread and well-equipped kitchen were a great bonus, allowing us to save some money on meals.
The noise level in the hostel. The number of doors between rooms made it difficult to sleep early and we were often woken up by banging doors.
